The festival will take place outdoors at Moscow's Tushino Aerodrome on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th June 2012.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park - an American rock band formed in 1996, the band rose to international fame with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005 and multi-platinum in several other countries. Its following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200 album chart in 2003. In 2003, MTV2 named Linkin Park the sixth greatest band of the music video era and the third best of the new millennium behind Oasis and Coldplay. Having adapted the nu metal and rap metal genres to a radio-friendly yet densely layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora,the band explored other genres in their next studio album, Minutes to Midnight, which was released in 2007.The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third best debut week of any album that year. The band's most recent work, the concept album A Thousand Suns, was released on September 8, 2010. Linkin Park has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and has won two Grammy Awards.

The Rasmus

One of the most popular Finnish rock bands.  Their album "Dead Letters" released in 2003 sold 1.6 million copies worldwide and signified the band's major break-through. "Dead Letters" received 8 gold and 6 platinum Awards, while the song from this album "In the Shadows" received 6 gold and 2 platinum Awards. "In the Shadows" which sold over 1 million copies reached historically number one on the list of Finnish compositions earning performance royalties abroad. Today the band has 25 successful singles and 8 albums 3 of which received gold and platinum Awards.

Clawfinger

Clawfinger is a rap metal band from Sweden and was one of the earliest bands to adopt this sound. Clawfinger is known for aggressive but melodic music and tackling political and anti-racist themes in their songs. Clawfinger released several successful albums which brought them fame not only in Europe but in America. The band's music and lyrics has become a protest to the rock motto "sex, drugs and rock&roll". The band members say "we don't wear cool outfit or have a cool tattoo, we don't wear red ball caps. But if people like our music - this is cool!" The band received many awards, including two home Grammies at the Swedish Grammy Awards in 1994 for best hard rock band and best music video. Clawfinger's music has played an important part in rap-metal style. The band has numerous live shows in Europe and participated at biggest European festivals. Clawfinger came to Moscow in 2006 and now they are back to perform at Maxidrom festival.

Therapy?

Therapy? is an alternative metal band from Northern Ireland.  With keen pop sensibilities, a skewed sense of humour and a willingness to draw inspiration from diverse sources (notably punk rock), Therapy? came to attention in the early 1990s rise of alternative rock, but have endured for two decades since; critic Johnny Loftus writes:
    "after a ten-plus year career that has seen them outlast competitors and outwit industry attempts at categorization... Therapy are still headbangers with their thinking caps screwed on tight."
The band has released 14 and sold over two million albums worldwide. In 2012 the band released new album A Brief Crack Of Light and is going on tour to perform at famous European festivals. The band will perform at Maxidrom on 10th of June.

The Cure

English alternative rock bank The Cure will perform for two hours on Maxidrom! The band is going to play their best songs from all 14 albums including tracks from remarkable album "Wish". The Cure were one of the first alternative bands to have chart and commercial success in an era before alternative rock had broken into the mainstream. In 1992 the NME declared The Cure had during the 1980s become "a goth hit machine (19 to date), an international phenomenon and, yep, the most successful alternative band that ever shuffled disconsolately about the earth".

Everlast

Everlast - an American rapper and songwriter, known for his solo hit "What It's Like" and as the front-man for rap group House of Pain. He is also part of the hip-hop supergroup La Coka Nostra, which consists of members of House of Pain and other rappers. In 2000, he won a Grammy for best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal with Latin Rock musician Carlos Santana for "Put Your Lights On."

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are an English rock band formed in 2010 as the solo moniker of former Oasis lead guitarist/songwriter Noel Gallagher.  The author of such hits as «Wonderwall», «Stop crying your heart out» and many others. In the fall 2011 Noel Gallagher released his solo album Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds which received Platinum status in Great Britain. The singles from the debut album "The Death of You and Me", «If I Had a GUN» became hits all over the world.

She wants revenge

She Wants Revenge is an American musical duo of Justin Warfield and Adam Braven. The group's debut album She Wants Revenge was released in early 2006, with three singles to follow. The band has sold more than 300,000 records in the US. The band's second album, This Is Forever, was released on October 9, 2007 then followed by third album, entitled Valleyheart, which was released on May 23, 2011.
Musically the band's influences range from the dance of 1980s acts like New Order, Depeche Mode and The Psychedelic Furs to the alternative rock groups of the 1990s, such as Pulp, My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth to the darker rock bands of the New Wave and post-punk movements such as Bauhaus, Danse Society, and The Sisters of Mercy who helped create the aesthetics of the original gothic rock genre.
Justin Warfield speaks about the umbrella term darkwave which has been applied to She Wants Revenge's music:
“     ...Dark wave to me is darker than what we do, I mean honestly I just consider it dancy rock n roll: not like rock n roll like early Stones dancy rock n roll, but certainly rock n roll like dance. Sure we've said before it's like dark dance because that's an easy way for people to wrap their hands around it. If you want to get more specific, yeah it's dark.
